We have great news—Warren Avenue is now part of the West Sound Youth Football League!
This league is made up of local high school feeder programs, and its board is comprised of all club Presidents with equal voting rights and equal say.
What does this mean for you?
It means youth come first. Our mission is to unite clubs and high schools, keep kids motivated to stay in sports from youth through high school, and build pride in our communities.
The league uses high school boundaries to determine where your child should play.
• If you live within Bremerton High School’s boundaries, you are in Warren Avenue’s Boundaries!
• If your family is zoned for another high school, we encourage you to join that feeder program. This helps every club thrive and ensures healthy competition.
• Players who were with a club last season are welcome to stay, OR they may move to their newly zoned feeder program.

⚔️ Warren Avenue Football Registration Info
Warren Avenue invites all kids ages 4–13 to register for Football! We’ve listed answers to common questions below to help you get started.
📅 When does Football registration begin?
• Online Registration (credit card only): Opens May 31, 2025
• In-Person Registration (cash/check):
• Wed, July 10 | 7–8 pm (during Board Meeting)
• Thu, July 25 | 5:30–7 pm
• Fri, July 26 | 5:30–7 pm

A String 12 - 13
B String 10 - 11
C String 8 - 9
D String 6 - 7
Flag 5 - 6 (6 year old can choose to play D or flag)
📌 Age Cutoff
Our “Pee Wee Year” runs from Aug 1 – July 31.
Your player’s Pee Wee Age = their age on Aug 31, 2025.
This applies for the entire 2025–26 Pee Wee Year (2025 Football, 2026 Basketball, 2026 Baseball).
💲 Registration Fees
• May 31 – July 31
• A, B, C, D: $250
• Flag: $150
• After Aug 1 (closes Aug 9):
• A, B, C, D: $275
• Flag: $150
Gear Security Deposits (required for A–D): $300 per player (check/credit card on file, only cashed if gear not returned).
Flag: No deposit required.
📌 What fees cover
Registration fees cover field rentals, equipment, training aids, insurance, officials, field upkeep, utilities, and facilities.
🎓 Scholarships
Available case by case based on donations. Requests must be made in person during in-person registration or practice. Decisions are made at the August Board Meeting (8/13/25).
🏃 Practices & Season
• Official Practices Begin: Last week of July
• Typically Mon–Fri until first game; then 3–4x/week
• Flag: ~3x/week
• Season: Begins last week of July | Games on Saturdays (first game after Labor Day).
• Regular season: 7 weeks
• Playoffs: 3 weeks → League Championships

• A & B: Bremerton HS Memorial Stadium
• C & D: Carpenter Field
🏈 Gear Provided
• A–D: Helmet, shoulder pads, jersey, football pants
• Flag: Helmet, game t-shirt
• Families provide: Cleats + protective cup
⚔️ Playing Up/Down
• Play Down: Rare, requires Warren Ave Board + Central Council approval.
• Play Up: Allowed with Board approval, though we encourage players to stay in their age bracket.
🙋 Volunteering & Concessions
Warren Avenue is 100% volunteer-run.
• Parents/guardians must volunteer 2 hours per child (mainly in concessions).
• Concession deposits: $75 per child (refunded after shift completed).
• Opt-out fee: $75 per child (non-refundable).
Coaches are exempt from concession shifts for the team they coach.

- All refunds have a $25 processing fee.
- Full refund before practice starts.
- Half refund after practice starts but before games.
- No refunds once games begin.
- Email required to request a refund.
- Injury withdrawals require a doctor’s note and will be prorated.
