We have great news—Warren Avenue is now part of the West Sound Youth Football League!
This league is made up of local high school feeder programs, and its board is comprised of all club Presidents with equal voting rights and equal say.
What does this mean for you?
It means youth come first. Our mission is to unite clubs and high schools, keep kids motivated to stay in sports from youth through high school, and build pride in our communities.
The league uses high school boundaries to determine where your child should play.
• If you live within Bremerton High School’s boundaries, you are in Warren Avenue’s Boundaries!
• If your family is zoned for another high school, we encourage you to join that feeder program. This helps every club thrive and ensures healthy competition.
• Players who were with a club last season are welcome to stay, OR they may move to their newly zoned feeder program.

⚔️ Warren Avenue Football Registration Info
Warren Avenue invites all kids ages 4–13 to register for Football! We’ve listed answers to common questions below to help you get started.
📅 When does Football registration begin?
• Online Registration (credit card only): Opens April 1st, 2026
• In-Person Registration (cash/check):
• 2nd Wednesday of the month at WAPW board Meeting 7-8pm (April. May, June, July, August)
🏈 Football Levels 2026
Level Grade for 2026 school year
Seniors 7th-8th grade (cannot be 15 before Dec. 1)
Juniors 5th-6th grade (cannot be 13 before Dec. 1)
Sophomores 3rd-4th grade (cannot be 11 before Dec. 1)
Freshman 1st-2nd grade (cannot be 9 before Dec. 1)
Flag K-1st (parent preference on tackle participation)
💲 Registration Fees
• April 1st, 2026........... Flag $150
Fresh-Seniors $275 registration fee
+ 15 helmet recertification fee
$290 total
OPTIONAL + 10 scholarship donation
$300 total with donation
PAYMENT PLANS OF CAN BE ORAGNIZED WITH REGISTRAR VIA EMAIL, TWO OPTIONS:
1) Apr.1, May 1, June 1, July 1, Aug 1: 4 payment dates at 72.50 ea
2) 1/2 and 1/2 before Aug 1: 2 payments at 145.00 ea
Payment is due in full by August 30th or athlete will not participate, please see note below re: refunds
Gear Security Deposits: $300 per player (check/credit card on file, only cashed if gear not returned).
Flag: No deposit required.
🙋 Volunteering & Concessions
Warren Avenue is 100% volunteer-run.
• Parents/guardians must volunteer 1x as listed below:
*concessions *chain gang special event *team mom only 1 per team, must be head coach approved
• Volunteer deposits : $75 per child (refunded after shift completed).
• Opt-out fee: $75 per child (non-refundable).
Coaches are exempt from concession shifts for the team they coach.
📌 What fees cover
Registration fees provide: field rentals, equipment, training aids, insurance, officials, field upkeep, utilities, and facilities.
🎓 Scholarships
Available case by case based on donations. Requests must be made in person during in-person registration. Decisions are made at the July Board Meeting, 8/8/26.
🏃 Practices & Season
• Official Practices Begin: July 27, 2026
• Typically Mon–Fri until first game; then 3–4x/week
• Flag: ~3x/week
• Season: Kicks off with WSYFL jamboree TBD (last weekend of Aug.)
• Regular season: 7 weeks
• Playoffs: 3 weeks → League Championships

🏈 Gear Provided
• Helmet, shoulder pads, jersey, football pants
• Flag: Helmet, game t-shirt
• Families provide: Cleats + protective cup
⚔️ Playing Up/Down
• Play Down: Rare, requires Warren Ave Board + Central Council approval.
• Play Up: Allowed with Board approval, though we encourage players to stay in their age bracket.
⚠️Refund Policy⚠️
- All refunds have a $25 processing fee.
- Full refund before practice starts.
- Half refund after practice starts but before games.
- No refunds once games begin.
- Email required to request a refund.
- Injury withdrawals require a doctor’s note and will be prorated.
