⚾ Warren Avenue Pee Wees – 2025 Baseball Registration
Warren Avenue would like to invite all kids ages 4–13 to register for the 2025 Baseball Season! We’ve answered the most common questions below to help you prepare.
🗓 Registration Information
- Online Registration: Opens January 16, 2025 and closes March 20, 2025.
- Early Bird Discount: January 16–31 → $50 off (see fees below).
- In-Person Registration: February (exact date TBD) at Carpenter Field Clubhouse (1017 Warren Ave, Bremerton).
👉 A valid email address is required for all registrations.
🎯 Age Groups (based on age as of August 31, 2024)
- B String: Ages 12–13
- C String: Ages 10–11
- D String: Ages 8–9
- Coach Pitch (Instructional): Ages 6–7
- T-Ball (Instructional): Ages 4–5
💲 Registration Fees
- Early Bird (Jan 16–31): $175 (B–Coach Pitch), $125 (T-ball)
- Regular (Feb 1–Mar 20): $225 (B–Coach Pitch), $150 (T-ball)
- Multiple Player Discounts: Applied at checkout.
- Included: Jersey & Hat (players keep both).
⚠️ Fees must be paid in full before a player can be rostered, practice, or play.
💡 What does my fee cover?
Registration fees help cover:
- Field rentals & maintenance
- Equipment & uniforms (jersey/hat)
- Insurance & officials
- Club expenses & facilities (restrooms, clubhouse, utilities)
📝 Required Documents
- New Players: Must submit a Birth Certificate and Address Verification.
- Email clear copies to [email protected] (include your child’s name) OR bring hard copies to a scheduled meeting.
🏟 Practices & Games
- Practices Begin: Mid-March (2–4 days per week, coach’s discretion).
- Locations: Crownhill Elementary, West Hills STEM, Naval Avenue Elementary, Mt. View Middle School, and Carpenter Field.
- Games: Home games played at Crownhill Elementary.
- Season: Runs from mid-March through mid-June.
👉 Coaches will contact families with schedules. Players should arrive 15 minutes early for warmups.
👕 What should players bring?
- Gray baseball pants (below the knee or full length)
- Royal blue socks & belt
- Rubber molded cleats
- Baseball mitt
- Optional: personal bat (teams provide 1–2 shared bats)
🔄 Playing Up or Down
- Play Down: Rare; requires Warren Ave Board and Central Council approval (Silverdale meeting, 1st Wednesday monthly).
- Play Up: Allowed with Warren Ave Board approval, though players are encouraged to stay within their age bracket.
🙋 Volunteering & Concession Requirement
- Warren Avenue Pee Wees is 100% volunteer-run. Every family’s help is needed!
Volunteer Requirement
- Each family must complete 2 volunteer hours per child, primarily in the concession stand.
- The concession stand is a major fundraiser that helps keep registration costs low.
- Head Coaches are exempt for the team they coach (but not for other children playing on different teams).
Concession Deposit / Opt-Out
- Deposit: $75 per child (due at uniform pick-up). Refunded after completing a 2-hour concession shift. If not completed, the deposit will be cashed after the last home game.
- Opt-Out Fee: $75 per child (due before uniform pick-up). This fee is non-refundable and exempts you from concession duty.

During registration, you can sign up to help as a:
- Coach or Assistant Coach
- Team Helper
- Concessions Volunteer
⚠️ Coaches/Helpers must:
- Complete a Coaches Pledge
- Pass a WSP Background Check
- Take the Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification course (link in “Baseball Docs” section)
🎓 Scholarships
- Limited, case-by-case basis.
- Must be requested by contacting the registrar before March 20th.
⚠️Refund Policy⚠️
- All refunds have a $25 processing fee.
- Full refund before practice starts.
- Half refund after practice starts but before games.
- No refunds once games begin.
- Email required to request a refund.
- Injury withdrawals require a doctor’s note and will be prorated.
